Atlanta is out, Raleigh is in!

The league has announced that they are no longer pursuing a team in Atlanta, Georga.  Instead the American Football League will place a team in Raleigh, North Carolina and place it in the Southern Division.  The reasoning behind the move is that the league believes that Raleigh can support a major professional football team and the new team will not have to compete with the NFL Falcons.  There was also some concerns about an acceptable stadium with the city involved with building new fields with the Falcons and Braves.

League Shop

(2/12/14)

​The league will be building a supply of licenced material for eventual sale in our shop.  The reason for opening the shop prior to the launching of the league is to help raise money for the continued development of the American Football League.

Verbal Agreement with 4-DTV network
(2/12/14)

​A verbal agreement has been reached with the 4-DTV network to cover up to 2 games a week if no major network picks up a contract for the league.
