With the exit of the Rams, the playing field is now wide open for the Hawks to replace them!
The American Football League, fan football is back! This is not just a slogan; we intend to bring pro football back to the fun state that we all remember during its' heyday in the 1970's. We will begin to "play" again!
We intend to open up with 20 teams nationwide in mostly major metropolitan cities. We have a single entity corporate structure and will launch all at once as opposed to facing expansion anytime soon. The American Football League has imposed a 5 to 7 year ban against any expansion. We want our teams to be able to develop and strengthen.

Rams deserting St. Louis
With the recent news that the St. Louis Rams NFL franchise heading out of town and going back to Los Angeles, this gives the American Football League a golden opportunity. The St. Louis Hawks team has always been a part of our future and with the NFL out of town, a real obsticle has been removed from the Hawks moving into the Edward Jones Dome. We will keep you informed at this works itself out.
Raleigh Triangles to replace Atlanta Fire
The Raleigh Triangles are to replace the Atlanta Fire in the Southern Division. The decision was made to have a better opportunity for the new team with no competition.
Shop to open in near future
The league shop will open in the near future as we build up some items that we think that you would like to buy. The first items will be mouse pads, coffee cups and T-shirts.
