The  Columbus Hornets are a new major league professional football team that will begin operations as an charter member of the American Football League. This new Columbus football club will be a blue-collar team that is fully emersed in the local community.



The Hornets colors and nickname were developed to fit a midwestern football club.  The Hornets uniform and logo designs were created by Gary Scherer for the American Football League (c) 2011.
