The  Washington Admirals are a new major league professional football team that will begin operations as an charter member of the American Football League.  This new Washington football club will be a blue-collar team that is fully emersed in the local community.  



The Admirals derive their nickname from both their coastal geographical location and their military history.  The Admirals uniform and logo designs were created by Gary Scherer for the American Football League (c) 2011.
