Dodge City

Dodge City is actually JWS-3; a spaceport on the other side of the asteroid field between Mars and Jupiter.  It is a waystation where ore and manufacturing come together in varying degrees of weightlessness and gravity.  JWS-3 stands for Jupiter Way Station number 3.  JWS-1 was no more than a satilite and JWS-2 was a small space station capable only of transfering items from ship to ship.  JWS-3 is called Dodge City by its' residents and travelers alike for the borderline lawlessness that makes up what it is.

 

Jason Cooper was sent to the spaceport to administer it and to develop some kind of law and order.  Dealing with miner, factory workers, thieves, peddlers, pirates, swindlers, civilians and station personnel, he has his hands full.
