Angel

Angel is the story of a small group of space lawmen that patrol the sector of territory between Mars and Saturn from their base in orbit of Titan.  They run patrols to escort spacecraft, ore ships and supply ships to keep them away from pirates and criminals.  They cover their sector in one man fighter spacecraft in teams.  The leader of their squadron is Nicodemus Blachard; he is better known as Angel.  

 

These squadrons are spotted around the system to help maintain order and protect life.  Sometimes this is difficult to accomplish.  The squadron is attached to Space Command Central.  It is on a shoestring budget and they seem to be on their own more times than not.  Those that have ventured out into space as well as those filling out these protective squadrons are some of the seediest and strangest bunch of outcasts that you can imagine.  The best way in which to describe their outpost and colonies is in a like vein of the Wild West.  

 

With the likes of Angel, Chief, Red, Bricklayer and Nina, a more motley crew will be hard to find.
